More than an exhibit of quilts, this event is a true celebration involving the entire country town of Algood, TN. You will see banners and flags directing you to the things to see and do. But start your outing by going to the Trinity Assembly on Main Street to purchase your ticket and register.
This year's festival will feature "Alzheimer's: Forgetting Piece by Piece", an exhibit of 52 extraordinary art quilts about Alzheimer's disease that is traveling throughout the United States.

The Depot and the History Museums will be hosting "A Night at the Museums." Similar to the Ben Stiller movie, "A Night at the Museum," the two city owned museums will come to life!
The event will start at the Cookeville History Museum where costumed performer will bring events and people out of Cookeville's history to life. As the evening progresses, the audience will walk down East Broad Sreet where they can speak with strolling former Cookevillians who will be discussing what Cookeville was like 100 years ago, especially on the West Side of town. When the audience reaches the Depot Museum, it will also come to life with former railroad employees and citizens discussing events at the Depot over the last 100 years.
This event is a continuation of the Depot Centennial Celebration that kicked off with the Centennial parade in June. There is NO Admission Price, however, contributions will certainly be appreciated!
