Upper Cumberland Air Show
I went to the air show near here at the Sparta Airport. Its kind of in the middle of Cookeville and Sparta, on the county line, so both counties take care of it. This was the first time i have ever been to an air show and it was wonderful! I just wish the weather would have been better. It was cloudy and sprinkled for about 20 minutes, but they waited it out and put on the rest of the show so that was great. Here are some pics.
That is an old world war 2 plane a texan 6 i think is what it was called. It was not made to do the flying tricks but the pilot took it up and spun her around like it was nothing!
The 5 planes above put on a great show with their dog fighting display!
The A-10 above was a great show too. It whistled as it went by it was the loudest plane of the day.
