I went to the air show near here at the Sparta Airport. Its kind of in the middle of Cookeville and Sparta, on the county line, so both counties take care of it. I went to the lake this weekend to celebrate the 4th of July and it came up a storm! After about 30 minutes of hard rain it stopped raining cleared up and well the sun didnt shine but it didnt rain anymore. It did offer up some nice pics tho. This was the best one.

Storm Clouds My niece took this with her cell phone last night while she was playing softball in Burkesville, Ky. It was lighting and thundering and she said this pictures does not do the acctualy cloud justice. It was the most unusal cloud she had seen. Luckaliy they called off the game before it got real bad.

Me and my wonderful hubby went riding around this weekend up to Celina to the dam and to get some awesome bbq. We went down to the rec area below the dam and it was so pretty with the fog hanging over the water and the sun peaking out over the trees. Just a reminder of the great place we live in!

We have had lots of rain here in Cookeville lately. All the rain has made my rose bushes bloom. I took some pics with the raindrops still on the roses and thought that they turned out super nice.
